My first official blog!

Usually I take to myspace to do my blogging but I have decided to expand and let me blog posts stand on their own... in all of their glory! Now usually my blogs on myspace are about things that I've done recently or things that I'm liking at the moment and this blog will follow suit for the most part... so let's get to it!
(P.S. I've never blogged on here before, so until I get this thing figured out, please, bear with me!)

Books: Very recently I have read two books that I have really enjoyed! The first book is called "At First Sight" by Nocholas Sparks. If you want a good cry then I strongly suggest this book to you. Nicholas Sparks never fails when it comes to touching your heart and tugging your heart strings... Below is the official book description straight from Nicholas Sparks' website!

There are a few things Jeremy Marsh was sure he’d never do: he’d never leave New York City; never give his heart away after barely surviving one failed marriage; and never become a parent. Now Jeremy is living in the tiny town of Boone Creek, North Carolina, engaged to Lexie Darnell, the love of his life, and anticipating the start of their family. But just as his life seems to be settling into a blissful pattern, a mysterious and disturbing e-mail sets off a chain of events that will change the course of this young couple’s relationship. How well do we really know the ones we love? How do we handle the inevitable doubts, fears concerning parenthood, and stumbling blocks that are sometimes placed in our way? Continuing the story of the young couple introduced in Sparks’s bestselling True Believer, this novel captures all the heartbreak, tension, romance and surprises of those who are newly wed. An astonishing tale about the love between a man and a woman and between a parent and a child, At First Sight is about endings that bring new beginnings . . . tragedies that lead to unexpected joy . . . and, most of all, the magic of everlasting love.

The next book I litterally got done reading about 30 minutes ago, it is called "Something Borrowed" and it is written by Emily Giffin, the first Emily Giffin book I read was called "Love the one you're with" and I absolutely devoured that book within the first 2 days of having it, so when I happened upon "Something Borrowed" while at a resale shop I could not wait to get it home and read it! Emily Giffin's writing is so witty, humorous, and youthful, you get lost in the hip up beat world she has created for you. And the cherry on the pie, there is a sequel to the book called "Something Blue" which I have already ordered on Amazon! Can not wait! Below is the official book description straight from Emily Giffin's website!

Something Borrowed tells the story of Rachel, a young attorney living and working in Manhattan. Rachel has always been the consummate good girl---until her thirtieth birthday, when her best friend, Darcy, throws her a party. That night, after too many drinks, Rachel ends up in bed with Darcy's fiancé. Although she wakes up determined to put the one-night fling behind her, Rachel is horrified to discover that she has genuine feelings for the one guy she should run from. As the September wedding date nears, Rachel knows she has to make a choice. In doing so, she discovers that the lines between right and wrong can be blurry, endings aren't always neat, and sometimes you have to risk all to win true happiness. Something Borrowed is a phenomenal debut novel that will have you laughing, crying, and calling your best friend.

Well it's pretty late so I suppose that is all for today, I hope you enjoyed my first blog! This is just a taste of what is to come! Lol, have a great day!
